CÁNDIDO BIDÓ MUSEUM

The painter Cándido Bidó, true to his origins, created the Fundación Bonao para la Cultura, which runs an art school. The school is easily identifiable by the large fresco decorating one of its walls. Students from all over the country learn painting, dance, music and sculpture. Works by the master, silkscreens, posters, paintings and books are available for purchase. Next to the school, a small gallery sells paintings created by the students. You'll be able to take home some great cultural souvenirs to give as gifts or to keep for yourself.
