Jaraventura offers, among other things, rafting on the El Río Yaque del Norte river, rated category 3 and 4 on a scale of 5, and therefore quite turbulent over a distance of six to ten kilometers. Also on the program is canyoning on the Salto Baiguate, with a walk from the first to the second waterfall. You can also trek up Pico Duarte, which rises to 3,087 metres, a unique opportunity to observe the flora and fauna of the highest peak in the Caribbean. Or, more simply, take an excursion to discover Jarabacoa.
