The rooms, spread over three adjoining buildings, are charmless and rather small, but very clean (with TV, hot water, some with air conditioning) and well located in the center. The Hotel Colonial is an ideal choice of accommodation only if you're spending the night in Santiago. Next door, the same owner owns the Colonial Deluxe, which is more comfortable... but more expensive! Nevertheless, the welcome is pleasant and all the city's points of interest are nearby, so travelers on foot will appreciate it.
