This trip, still not known, is a discovery of Dominican nature and a little common aquatic adventure. You will have to walk, swim, slip, jump in sometimes deep waters, stretching into narrow parades, climbing the waterfalls with strings or makeshift ladders in a first-day paradise of paradise. It takes a day of excursion and three to four hours of very sporty hiking to discover the waterfalls and enjoy the place. A very "wet" excursion reserved for adults and children knowing swimming: provide sandals or plastic shoes not fearing water (do not carry bags, carefully wrap keys and cameras in sealed bags).
The excursion begins with the river crossing, often ford, and a walk of about minutes in the forest to reach the first natural swimming pool. These 27 waterfalls of rocky rock walls in winding falls to draw natural pools to green waters on nine levels. Randonneurs groups usually stop at the first waterfall to take a bath. The climb is quite difficult because of the heat, but the efforts are greatly rewarded by an unforgettable descent in the heart of waterfalls.

It should be noted that guides are volunteers who do not have any formation in canyoning since it is that it is.
The guide taken care of all with us, it worked very quickly in front, know that the way to go up to the falls is very slippery and very steep. Then you will need to swim and climb the falls with against current. Very tiring, draw has end of arm by the guide to falls in falls. Personally I slip and I was badly with knees and back.
The guide did not come to help me.
I however in the very fine physical shape.
Miss total framing and security, which is a shame given the beauty of the place. DANGER ATTENTION
