The railway station of La Paz is now out of order. However, in its ticket office, you can get tickets for theExpreso del Sur or for the Wara Wara (trains serving the stations of Oruro, Tupiza, Villazón). Please check beforehand, as the trains do not run regularly due to damage to the tracks or technical incidents. Please note: there are no trains to Uyuni. Some companies do offer this option, but they will take you by bus and not by train.
