The department for foreigners is called "Extranjería". When you enter Bolivia (no visa required for French nationals), the customs officer will issue you a one-month visa waiver. It is easy to extend your stay in Bolivia for an additional 60 days free of charge by completing the formalities at the immigration office (simply by imposing 2 "30 slides" stamps on your passport!).
