The people of La Paz were very lucky that a few years ago Mr. Hamid met his wife in Spain. A proud (and probably unique) Pakistani-Bolivian, he has been preparing the best chana masala, tandoori chicken and parathas in the country since 2020 in his cozy restaurant on a sloping street in Casco Viejo. Be careful what you order, as people here tend to have their eyes bigger than their stomachs, and often you have to take the food to go. Make sure you have a fridge at the hotel.
