LEGISLATIVE PALACE
Legislative Palace built according to the standards of classicism, with a clock and a main hall with white marble stairs
Inaugurated in 1905, the Legislative Palace was built according to the standards of classicism. It consists of two halls occupied by the Chamber of Deputies and Senators. The main hall features a majestic white marble staircase. Take a look at the clock on the front of the building. No, you're not mistaken: the hands do turn the opposite way! Modified in 2014, they now represent an opportunity for Bolivian citizens to challenge established norms and reevaluate their own culture.
