MUSEO DE INSTRUMENTOS MUSICALES DE BOLIVIA
Museum with Andean and international instruments, charangos, quenas, and works of the Bolivian musician Ernesto Cavour
The museography is a bit outdated, but there is a multitude of Andean and international instruments to be admired, among which are many charangos, drums and other quenas. The pieces date from the pre-Hispanic era to the present day and several works by the great Bolivian musician Ernesto Cavour, who is at the origin of this project, are presented here. A must-see museum to understand the importance of music in Bolivian culture.
