MUSEO DE ARTE SACRO
The museum is located in the cathedral itself. These are six small rooms that still retain the architecture of the time, with the brick floor and the ceiling crossed with beams. As his name indicates, he exhibits cultuels objects, religious paintings, sacerdotal clothing and paintings depicting biblical scenes and belonging to the schools of Cusco and Lima. The Flemish school is also present, with paintings by Guillaume Fourchauldt and Antoine Van Dyck, as well as the school in Venice, with Giambattista Piazzeta. In the windows, are exposed to silver objects, such as chandeliers, bells, chalices, etc. One of the rooms houses sculptures of saints, another of liturgical ornaments exposed according to their colour: red, black, gold and green.
