Do not miss this hidden treasure, located behind the Museo Cerámico! It houses the famous Bennet monolith which was discovered on June 28, 1932 by the American archaeologist of the same name. It measures 7,30 m and weighs 20 tons. It used to be in the middle of the Templete Semi Subterráneo, in La Paz, but was returned to the Tiwanaku regional museum in 2002 to protect it from vandalism and urban pollution. Other beautiful and captivating statues are exhibited in this museum, to be done after the visit of the site if possible.
