The Gate of the Moon is located at 500 m from Kalasasaya. It is a monolithic arch of more than 2 m high in andesite, oriented according to the cardinal points, which has interesting reliefs. The motifs are similar to those of the Sun Gate, except that here the zoomorphic engravings represent puma mouths and fish heads. It seems that it was previously located near the cemetery and was moved later. Often ignored by visitors, wrongly, it is well worth your attention.
