IGLESIA VIRGEN DE LA NATIVIDAD
18th century church with a thatched roof in the main square, on the site of an ancient pre-Hispanic temple
The aesthetically beautiful colonial churches of the region bear witness to the process of evangelization by the Spaniards after Pizarro and Almagro began the colonization of Upper Peru. Almost all of them have been restored in 2010. Located in the main square, the village church was built in the 18th century on the site of an ancient pre-Hispanic temple. Its thatched roof and picturesque appearance are worth a visit. The place is very photogenic at sunset.
