CALLE LA PAZ
Street where the bordadores and craftsmen make the clothes of the carnival dancers all year long to prepare the next
This is the street where the clothes of the carnival dancers are made. The bordadores (embroiderers) and craftsmen work hard all year round in preparation for the next carnival. There is a profusion of masks and many characteristic places. A monastic silence accompanies the realization of these true masterpieces of popular art. Some of the tailors will not be open if you visit at a time away from Carnival, but the windows and the artistic paintings on the walls are still worth a look!
