TERMINAL DE BUS
Very well equipped, the bus terminal offers all the amenities for tourists: ATM, tourist information kiosk and a pleasant cafeteria. As usual, the place is gloomy in the evening. Avoid walking alone very late and choose the right hotels if you want to sleep close to the area.
To La Paz: about 8 hours of travel time. Direct buses, and others that make a stop in Oruro, which means you have to make the connection. Very numerous departures (every hour from 5am to 11pm) with Cosmos and Expresso Cochabamba. Trans-Copacabana and Bolivar offer sleeping carts for night trips
To Oruro: departures every 30 minutes between 5am and 11pm with the companies Nobleza or Bolivar. 5 hours of travel. It is also the easiest way to get to Uyuni
To Santa Cruz: 10 hours to 12 hours of travel depending on the season, the company and the route. Departures every 30 minutes between 5:30 and 9am, then in the evening between 4:30 and 10:30pm. Nobleza and Trans-Copacabana Companies. Departures also before 9 from Abril, esq. Oquendo with colectivos or fast buses (from 35 to 45 Bs).
To Sucre: 12 hours of travel time. Choose well-equipped companies, such as Nobleza and Mopar, because the journey is really challenging. Departure between 7pm and 8.30pm.
To Potosí: Evening departures between 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm for 12 hours of travel with Cosmos and Flota Copacabana
To Vallegrande: daily departures at 7pm from Av. República and 6 de Augusto with the companies Vallegrande or Trans Carrasco.
To Villa Tunari: departures every day between 5am and 11pm, as soon as the colectivo is full, Av. Republica y Oquendo with Trans Carrasco. Allow 3 hours and a half by car.
To Torotoro: departures four times a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6:30 pm, Thursdays and Sundays around 5:45 pm, from the corner of Avenida 6 de Agosto and Avenida República (allow about 5-6 hours by car)
