"Grandma's recipes", says the slogan, actually Sugar's specialties. From the excellent chorizo chuquisaqueño, to the picante de pollo (a slightly spicy dish of chicken accompanied by chuñoand rice), to the mondogo (tripe), you will enjoy copious dishes (ask for the medio plato for one person) and excellent value for money. You will be able to accompany the whole with a local juice. There is a pleasant terrace on the Prado, although you will probably be bothered by one of the many beggars in the city.
