MACHÍA PARK
Animal park created at the initiative of the Inti Wara Yassi community, which tries to teach the law of the jungle to animals
This animal park was created on the initiative of the Inti Wara Yassi community who are trying to relearn the law of the jungle to animals that have always lived in captivity. For the monkeys, for example, after a first stage on a leash, they are released in the park and learn to feed themselves again. This way, it is not difficult to come across them all along the way. The walk includes several walking circuits. From the watchtowers, there is a magnificent panoramic view of the Espíritu Santo river, the Cordillera Oriental and the lowlands of Chapare.
