The church of Nuestra Señora de Belén de Tinguipaya is easily recognizable by its arched front. The original chapel was built in 1545 and the cloister was added. It was destroyed by bad weather in 1725 and rebuilt and completed in 1753. In the twentieth century, this baroque-style church was transformed into a cinema and then into a theatre, the Modesto Omiste Tinajeros Theatre, which is still there today. It has a pleasant restaurant open to the public.
