The Casa Dorada was commissioned between 1878 and 1903 by Moisés Navajas Ichazo, the richest man in Tarija at the time, and his wife Esperanza Morales Serrano, who, having no descendants, decided that history would remember his fortune through the magnificence of his palaces. A profusion of styles, from Versailles to Rococo! Its facade, gold and silver, borrows quite interesting tones according to the changes of light. We visit the rooms where the owners lived and whose decoration has remained unchanged.
