A historic "museum-restaurant" open for over 130 years and housed in a Chiquitano-style house. It's a charming place, with its period decor and various rooms featuring antique furniture. The patio, with an ancient well and a pond where turtles frolic, is particularly pleasant. Honest local cruceña cuisine is served, with typical regional dishes such as the excellent majadito de pato (duck) or picante de pollo (chicken in hot sauce). Attentive service and very reasonable prices.

Nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix de resto pour notre dernier repas en Bolivie. Restaurant typique. Nous avons enfin goûté à la soupe d'arachides (sopa de mani) qu'il n'a pas été possible de déguster dans d'autres restos. Pastel et poisson étaient excellents.
La décoration est faite de vieille machines à écrire, fer à repasser. Au centre de la petite salle un tout petit patio donne un peu de fraicheur. Resto vraiment sympa.
