Located in an old house from the end of the 18th century, in the home of Juan Antonia Álvarez de Arenales, the hero of the independence of Santa Cruz, this museum presents the history of the city. In its permanent rooms, you will find information about the city, its history, its civic struggles, its architecture and urbanism, its economic development and its culture. A multitude of activities such as seminars, lectures and music concerts are offered. Temporary exhibitions are also held every month.
