Close to the main square, Café Almendra offers delicious vegetarian and vegan food. The room is small but pleasant and the open kitchen adds charm to the place. Specialties include cheese and yucca pancakes and sandwiches made with fried bananas. A word of advice: don't leave before you've tried the delicious coffee. In short, hearty, healthy and tasty food for a small price! What more could you ask for? Also sells handicrafts (jewelry, soaps, canvas bags...).
