A few kilometres from La Paz, in the Yungas in Coroico, one of the richest cultural mergers in the Americas took place. The ancestors of Afro-Andins, who arrived three centuries ago as slaves for the silver mines in Potosí, are now one of the engines of the Bolivian nation: they represent the union between the Andes and the tropics. You will discover black women wearing the melon hat of the Cholas de La Paz and you will hear the "saya", one of Bolivia's finest music!

Et bien oui c'est à Coroico que cette fête qui dure près de 3 jours permet de rencontrer ces communautés afro andines dont la musique est venue faire résonner les tambours avec les flutes !
La musique et la bière coulent à flot. Les participants sont costumés selon les villages d'origine.
L'église participe également à la fête.
En bref des moments à savourer.
