The Cordillera Quimsa Cruz is a mountain range of about 5,500 m altitude, located near La Paz. A destination far from the beaten track since it is rarely visited. The mining roads give access to climbing paths to reach the peaks, but it is better to go with local guides. The northern part of this mountain range is a playground of choice for rock climbers, with beautiful technical climbs and granite rock. About 80 peaks are located between 4,900 and 5,760 meters above sea level.
