The name of this structure, "Mapajo", is that of giant and sacred trees of the forest, which are found on the trails. This community project brings together 7 communities that can be reached after 3 hours by boat. It is indeed, here, an "integrated" tourism, which brings humanly benefits to all. The houses are of indigenous style, simple and pleasant, with thatched roofs. The local cuisine is excellent. The walks in the surrounding forest are magical with the local guides. Profits are donated to health and school projects.
