CHALALÁN ECOLODGE
Ecolodge on the edge of a lagoon, housing bungalows with terrace and hammock, programs to discover the jungle proposed
Chalalán is one of the most prominent indigenous community projects for environmental conservation and sustainable development in Madidi National Park. It offers rustic but decent bungalows (small terrace with hammock). Several types of programs are offered to discover the jungle (animals, plants, etc.), between 4 and 6 days. The site, on the edge of a lagoon, is superb. The food is rather good and copious, the guides, natives of the village of San José de Uchupiamonas, located at about 2 hours, are for the most part competent.
