Museum housing artifacts from pre-Columbian and colonial times
Inaugurated in 2008, this museum has 14 rooms divided into 4 thematic areas: the identity of Gran Moxos, its culture, its traditions and its religion. Artifacts from the pre-Columbian period (mainly ceramics) and the colonial period (silverware, masks, musical instruments) give an idea of the greatness of this civilization. Some locals say that they found so many treasures near their homes that they did not know what to do with them. They use them today as decoration and flowerpots in their houses.
