LA YUNGA ECO LODGE
Association created to develop ecotourism that supports projects for the community in Parque nacional amboro
In the Yunga, a small community living from agriculture and wanting to turn to ecotourism, a community project has been initiated. It is possible to sleep in the new cabañas for a small fee. The ASYTUR association created to develop ecotourism supports directly and indirectly projects for the community. It employs about fifteen people, including several natives of the community. It should be notedthat the La Yunga entrance to the park is no longer much used by agencies since the Cerro La Rana entrance is operational.
