MEXINACO
The name of this bar is the words Mexico City and Naco, a word used to designate a redneck or face. As his name suggests, this bar draws its inspiration from the popular Mexican folkore of bad taste, finally the folkore that the Mexican high class regards as bad taste, but that the foreigners call rather kitsch, or surreal. The walls are decorated with paintings and graffiti depicting the maría María Sabina healer, the Virgin of Guadaloupe, the peseros, the metro… The place is more popular and relaxing than many bars in La Condesa, and sells the effigy of Zapata and Malverde, the patron saint of the traffickers.
