This impressive Baroque temple, built in the early 18th century, is home to numerous works of religious art, including an altarpiece by Manuel Tolsá and a painting by Juan Correa depicting the Virgin of Pópolo. Other works, including a large collection of paintings produced between the 17th and 19th centuries, are housed in the pinacoteca adjacent to the church.
