CASA DE LOS AZULEJOS
The Casa de Los Azulejos is an old house of the counts of the Orizaba Valley, built in the middle of the XVIII century
Former home of the counts of the Orizaba Valley, built in the mid-eighteenth century, it is one of the emblematic buildings of the city. Puebla tiles cover the entire facade of this baroque-style house, hence its name. In the original staircase, we can appreciate a fresco by José Clemente Orozco, called Omniciencia. We would have liked the Casa de los Azulejos to be converted into a museum, but it houses a restaurant of the Sanborn's chain, as well as a newsstand, which is a bit of a shame!
