The floors of this museum retrace the armed interventions of different foreign powers in Mexico during the 19th century
The old convent of Churubusco is a symbolic place of the resistance of the Mexican armies to the invasion of the United States: in 1847, the monks fled the convent to make way for the garrisons that would defend the country's capital in vain. The museum includes a visit to the old monastic spaces and their magnificent orchard, a real oasis in the heart of the neighborhood. The floors retrace the armed interventions of different foreign powers in Mexico during the 19th century.
