A remarkable statue inaugurated in 1942, a historic site to visit in Mexico City.

Named by its author La Flechadora de las Estrellas del Norte, she continues to be referred to as Diana Cazadora. When she was inaugurated in 1942, conservative residents were outraged that a naked woman was being displayed in a public square and forced the sculptor Juan Olaguíbel to add a bronze panty. The Diana remained clothed in this way until the 1968 Olympic Games, when Olaguíbel finally succeeded in restoring the statue to its original appearance!
