MUSEO NACIONAL DE LA ESTAMPA
Museum housing some 12,000 works by mainly Mexican artists who developed the practice of printmaking.
In a magnificent historic building, this museum concentrates around 12,000 works by mainly Mexican artists, who have raised the practice of stamping (engraving, lithography, xylography…) to the rank of national pride: José Guadalupe Posada, Leopoldo Méndez, Adolfo Mexiac, Mariana Yampolsky, Angelina Beloff, Julio Ruelas, David Alfaro Siqueiros and Rufino Tamayo. As the museum is ideally located near the Alameda, it would be a pity not to jump there.
