PLAZA SANTA CATARINA
This very relaxing square, built in the 17th century, has several nice restaurants
Built in the 17th century, this square is very relaxing and you will find several nice restaurants, especially the one on the corner of the street. A good alternative on weekends if the Hidalgo and Centenario squares are crowded. You can spot it by the modest mustard-colored church that gives it its name. To get there from the Centenario Garden, take Francisco Sosa Street and go straight ahead. The Casa de Cultura Jesús Heroles is adjacent to the square and also has a nice restaurant in its garden.
