EX TERESA ARTE ACTUAL
This place hosts beautiful exhibitions and art installations but also performances and concerts
Nestled in the former Santa Teresa convent, just a stone's throw from the Zócalo, this imposing building with its magnificent dome is well worth a visit. Once home to the city's first Carmelitas Descalzas congregation, since 1994 it has been transformed into a space dedicated to contemporary art. Today, it hosts superb exhibitions, art installations, performances and concerts. The contrast between the works of art on display and the architecture that elegantly accommodates them is striking.
