CENTRO CULTURAL CLAVIJERO
Baroque-style palace that served as a prison until 1970, renovated to house the state tourist office in Morelia.
Formerly called Palacio Clavijero, this baroque palace was a Jesuit school founded in the 17th century. The building was then used as a prison until 1970, when it was renovated to house, among other things, the State Tourist Office and a public library. In 2008, it reopened as a museum and cultural centre, with temporary exhibitions of international quality. A must-see, both for the exhibitions and the building.
