If you are not looking to be close to the main square, the Mansion del Cupatitzio Hotel (see below) is a better option than the Plaza Uruapán hotel. However, the Hotel Plaza Uruapán has comfortable rooms. On the first floor, the restaurant Camelinas whose chef is French (Guillaume Mourance) and on the ground floor a buffet for breakfast, as well as a few dishes.
