So called, in 1803, it hosted Alexandre Humboldt, Explorer and German naturalist. Its main facade is decorated with geometric motifs in mudéjar style; its patio, fountain and gallery are characteristic of homes built in the th century, when mining production was at its peak. Used successively as a hospital, cinema and convent, the building currently houses the Museo de Arte Sacro Sacro (colonial religious art).
