A popular place for families, with a beautiful 80 meter waterfall in Taxco.
Ten kilometers west of Taxco is this beautiful 80 meter waterfall, in the middle of a coniferous forest. You can walk in the beautiful natural landscapes that surround it, following the hiking trails. There are several kinds of activities possible on the spot: riding a horse, taking a small zip line over the waterfall (also suitable for children), swimming (beware, the water is very cool, some people venture in only wearing a wetsuit!). The place is popular with families.
