CENTRO CASA BORDA
Residence with a sober and elegant façade, built by Don de la Borda in Taxco.
This residence with its sober and elegant facade was built in the 18th century by Don José de la Borda, the man of French origin who discovered the great silver mines near Taxco. In 1978, the building was converted into a cultural center where seminars, ceremonies, music and dance performances and plays take place. Its 14 rooms present temporary exhibitions of sculptures, paintings and photographs by artists from the state of Gerrero. Check their calendar of events on their Facebook page.
