Aripo is an initiative of the state of Oaxaca, which, through the Instituto Oaxaqueño de las Artesanías, has been selecting the best of regional handicrafts for 30 years. The building and the presentation are superb, as is the quality of the articles selected. There are beautiful knives, traditional oilpots with a thousand colours, original jewellery, small carved objects and magnificent ceramic tableware. In our opinion, this is the most beautiful place in the city for shopping for handicrafts.
