The first Dominican convent founded in the city in 1529, restored by the Fundacion Alfredo Harp Helu Oaxaca.
This place was the first Dominican convent founded in the city in 1529. The building has been wonderfully restored by the Fundación Alfredo Harp Helú Oaxaca, and the additions made over the years have been eliminated. In addition to its architecture, you can discover a complete academic and cultural center: library, art workshops for children, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, etc. All activities are free. Very nice place to visit.
