Ce marché est vraiment moins cher que ceux que l'on peut rencontrer dans le centre de Oaxaca, et c'est pour cela que les locaux préfèrent y faire leurs achats. Il est vraiment très grand et on peut y trouver de tout, et dans une ambiance vraiment très dépaysante. Quelques inconvénients sont néanmoins à noter comme le fait qu'il est assez réputé pour les multiple vols, alors si vous décidez d'y aller laisser vos objets de voleurs en lieux sûre.
