PINACOTECA DIEGO RIVERA
Small museum located in Jalapa, presenting temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists, and works of the painter Diego Rivera
Installed next to the Parque Juárez and inaugurated in 1998, this small museum presents 36 works of the painter Diego Rivera. Frida Kahlo's communist husband, a friend of the revolutionary Leon Trotsky, was one of the most important Mexican muralists and one of the pioneers of the movement. The place also presents temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists, which change every two and a half months. A beautiful institution that promotes the plastic arts and gives pride of place to one of the country's greatest painters.
