The Xalapa Symphony Orchestra in Jalapa hosts numerous recitals on the state university campus.
The Xalapa Symphony Orchestra played its first piece in 1939, making it the most consistent classical music ensemble in the country, although it has never had its own hall. In 2006, work began on this unique hall, dedicated to acoustic perfection. Eight years later, the hall was inaugurated and became the home of the symphony orchestra. Today it hosts many recitals: don't miss it, it is located on the campus of the state university, the Universidad Veracruzana.
