SALTO DE EYIPANTLA
An impressive waterfall, with a panoramic view of the river, the surrounding mountains
In the Los Tuxtlas region, about 15 km southwest of the village of Catemaco, there is an impressive waterfall of about 60 meters high - the most imposing in the region. You can reach the bottom by a staircase of 244 steps, or stick to the panoramic view, which also gives the possibility to admire the river and the surrounding mountains. The site is very touristy, but it is no less beautiful. On site, you will find a few restaurants and souvenir stands. Impressive and roaring.
