CASA DE LOS AZULEJOS
A beautiful house decorated with ceramics, housing the Tabasco History Museum, presenting hundreds of objects and documents
It is a beautiful house whose floor and walls are decorated with ceramics. It is recognizable by its blue façade and sculptures. The Roman god of Commerce is recognizable and small Cleopatra figures can be seen painted on mosaics. The sculptures and this pictorial element would present analogies with the members of the family of the rich merchant who had this house built between 1890 and 1915. It houses the Museum of History of Tabasco, which gathers in 9 rooms hundreds of objects and documents, the oldest dating from the 16th century.
