CAÑON LA TRINIDAD
Canyon allowing to observe paintings dated of five thousand years, representing shamans, hinds and whales
In the Trinidad Canyon, paintings dating back five thousand years can be seen, depicting shamans, deer and whales. In addition to these pre-Hispanic drawings, a curiosity can be observed there: children's handprints. It is assumed that this is a kind of civil register for the sons of the chiefs of the Cochimi tribes. Once you arrive at this private property, you will have to walk a few kilometres to reach the paintings. Hiring the services of a specialized guide is not a luxury for a half-day walk.
