This is a small rustic hotel along the road to San Ignacio. There are few (or attractive) lodging options in San Ignacio. The Desert Inn isn't cheap, but the setting is nice, with the small, flower-filled patio, the pleasant pool and the large rooms. The rooms are simply decorated, but they are quiet and sleep well. The hotel also has a restaurant. A good base for exploring the area, especially as you can walk to the village and its few sites of interest.
